The efficiency of Chromebooks can work against them in certain situations, though. Just make sure you’re not buying a Chromebook that’s fallen out of the support window. (Those are quite new, and it’s not clear whether they’re worth buying.) Pay attention during the holidays or peak sales periods like Prime Day, when prices can drop really low-down by around $100 or more.
